Toilet Bowl Cleaner – My Merry Messy Life has a great toilet bowl cleaner recipe and all you need is Castile soap, baking soda and a few drops of essential oils.
Body Wash – Have you priced organic chemical free body washes? HOLY CRAP they are expensive. All you need is 1 cup filtered water, 1/4 cup liquid castile soap, a few drops of your favorite essential oil and 1 tsp vegetable glycerine. Mix all ingredients in a empty bottle and you will have a body wash that would be suitable for the whole family – baby too.
All Purpose Cleaner –Add 1 part castile soap to 5 parts water and a few drops of lemon essential oil into a spray bottle. This will work well on counter tops, sinks and floors
Hand Soap – I don't know about you but we are always washing our hands and go through a lot of soap. This is a easy way to refill those foaming soap dispensers. Add 1 part castile soap to 3-5 parts water and I love adding some citrus essential oil.
Cleaning Leather Upholstery – This works well on furniture or for your car. Add 2 drops of Castile soap to 1 quart warm water. Apply to the leather with a moist rag or sponge.
Mopping Floors – Add 1/4 cup Castile soap to 2 gallons of warm water then mop as usual.
Cars –My kids love to wash my car so this is perfect for them, because we all know how soapy and wet kids can get when washing a car. Add 1/4 cup of liquid Castile soap to a bucket of HOT water, fill almost to the top.
Soft Scrub Cleaner – This mixture is perfect for bathooms or when you want to really clean your kitchen sink. Combine 1 tablespoon of liquid Castile and 1/3 cup baking soda.
Dog Shampoo – The same way you make your body wash will work for your pooch.
Produce Wash – Add 1 tablespoon Castile soap to 2 cups water in a spray bottle and spray produce after bringing it home from the market.
